Oh, Blue Lock is the first of manga sales, great! No wonder it gets second season and Nagi movie also!
Also Blue Lock novels, Kaisen and Tokyo Revengers manga also sold pretty good.

Yossha, we need a S2 of Otonarino Tenshi-sama then! On the manga side of things, I didn't know Blue Lock was blowing up to this pace! Nice, nice.
Looks like Tokidoki Bosotto Russia-go de Dereru Tonari no Aalya-san is getting quite the traction too, that's good to see and I'm looking forward to the adaption soon.

Looks like there was a mistake. JJK Vol 21 didn't get second and third place in the volume rankings, with different numbers.
Looking at the source provided, Vol 22 was in third.

Adaptation was fine and all but pretty sure the timing of it coinciding with then ongoing world cup has a hand too in those millions of sales of Blue lock.
Also what is Kaiju no.8 doing there on the list??

@Ramkec If CSM ends up as number 2 in manga sales at the end of the year that is significant success as it hasn't been there yet. I don't understand why people thought it would be even as popular as it is. I don't think anyone expected Blue Lock to be doing this great but topic wise the content is way more mainstream than something like CSM.

I am very happy that the Otonari no Tenshi-sama ni Itsunomanika Dame Ningen ni Sareteita Ken sell so good. It is really such a huge geb and one of the best romance light novels out there without disgusting drama. I hope it will sell more and more and eventually have a season 2 for the anime too

If Blue Lock manga is as good as the anime adaptation, then it has to be a result of some kind of tax evasion scam or money laundering. It was the most tedious and mind numbing boring sports series I've ever seen.

Of course your average MAL user is a pretentious idiot that lacks business sense and would probably run the anime industry into bankruptcy, probably has a writing degree(the vegans of degrees annoying and got to mention it every other second) and generally are the toxic side of nerd hobbies.

It's just amerizoomers being amerizoomers. Let them do their silly "cancelling" of stuff they would not even buy anyway. With enough luck, they gonna do enough buzz in their twitter bubbles who will atract some neutral normies attention, and thus make it MORE POPULAR than it would be. No such thing as bad publicity.
Also, let's be real: LOL, LMAO, XD, ahaha, even.
It's like if I would like to go boycotting MCU cuz the heroes are americans, and, you known, no WMDs on Iraq, funding to South America brutal military dictatorships in the 1960's-1980's (my poor country included), etc, etc, etc.
Hell, at least the MCU HAS some politics and looooots of cultural americanisms shoved in, this stuff is just a romantic slice of life with a teen girl russian-who-lives-in-japan (or uzbek-russian, if people spoiled me correctly) who rumbles in her native language from time to time. VERY Political, such Vatnik, author is totally a Dugin-pilled guy with Zs on his own house /s.
If this was that Isekai Putin (Ride on King), I would comprehend the angryness, but THIS?!
FGO NA Code: 482.072.599 (F2P thug life of savings...) Ben-to! best nonsensical action anime. Ever. |

I stopped paying attention to this after a lot of people who made fun of the boycott of Hogwarts Legacy, non-ironically called for a boycott of Atomic Heart, lol.RobertBobert said:

Looks like Tokidoki Bosotto Russia-go de Dereru Tonari no Aalya-san is getting quite the traction too, that's good to see and I'm looking forward to the adaption soon.

Looks like Kusuriya no Hitorigoto is finally going down in sales of older volumes. But... Since it's finally getting an anime, sales of older volumes are going to explode again soon lmao.

I can say this from personal experience, as nothing really changed for the Russian kids here at my school, the continued to get along with American kids just as they had before.
It's mostly the old mainstream "liberals" that care about this stuff, not the new generation, specially those who watch anime.
I doubt there will be a significant number of "amerizoomers" boycotting this show, there might a few here and there, but certainly the vast majority will not care at all.

Blue Lock is peak, glad to see it on top doing really well. Seeing it at the top also makes me happy because it makes the pretentious MAL elitists mad 🙏 "I cannot believe such edgy fujobait drivel is at the top instead of my favorite underrated obscure manga that barely anyone knows about. *Blah blah more meaningless buzzwords and complaining about the current state of the anime industry and people's inferior garbage taste* 🤓☝"
No one hates anime more than anime fans. |
