Did I say anything about rule out? Bah. All you're saying is that this anime genre is romcom, and people should accept that the anime put some drama atmosphere at the end of an episode, then immediately go back to romance lovey dovey at next episode even though the transition is weird, and they should left the the drama unresolved because it is unresolved. Oh, and people should shut up because it is the way of romcom genre. :P Meh. I blame the writers.

That aside, perhaps if they emphasize more on romance development between Rikka & Yuuta, especially in episode 5, this shouldn't have feel weird. I don't know why the writers think Rikka suddenly realized she's in love with Yuuta after having a brawl with Touka is such a splendid idea. lol

I'm really happy with the romance development. I'm looking forward to the rest of this show even more now.

I really loved the development between Yuuta and Rikka. Absolutely loved it.

Also, that dog has it in for Nibutani xD

What a great episode. I loved it!. I really can't so more.

Hope for a kiss between Yuuta and Rikka sometime in the future, but if that kiss does happen, KyoAni will not highlight the kiss, never had done it in other works.

As long it's not a kiss like in Spice and wolf I am okay.

I loved even more when she tells Yuuta that she doesn't know why (when she's watching tv) with such a cute voice. It was my favourite scene in this episode.

I'll be honest. I find it kind of arousing when the dog is on top of Nibutani and he's licking her

I don't know how they transitioned from totally dead-serious to totally love-love, but they did it. Love is in full bloom.

It looks like romance will take a large share of the pie from now on. Meanwhile, I don't know whether to feel bad for Isshiki. Nothing seems to go well for him even when he lucks out...

Kicking Rikka would be a bit much if we weren't talking about someone who regularly assaults people with ladels. Rikka's sister is getting more unlikable with each episode. Props to Yuuta for stepping in.

The part with Isshiki and his "important phone call" was kinda funny.

Why? She's simply sick of Rikka being all insane.

That doesn't mean she should be assaulting people with ladels and kicks. In fact we've yet to see her sister ever show any compassion or comfort toward Rikka. Was she always like this even before their father died? Aside from one vague photo we never really see the two as sisters. Just two highly dysfunctional individuals who happen to live together.

Blackmailing Yuuta with that recording was also pretty low.

Very Likely that's gonna happen since this is adapted from an Ongoing novel series, and they have to introduced the new character in season 2 since she isnt in the OP.

Nah, I don't think so. The anime's just loosely based on the light novels. Even Kumin, Sanae and Touka are anime original characters.

Edit: Nevertheless, we all know KyoAni. Here's hoping they at least confess their feelings.

Damn, I want Yuuta to end up with Shinka but I doubt it's gonna happen since She's only a supporting character (They make a good couple; They're also both normal so nothing's to worry about)

Wait what? even Touka is anime only?

Then the novel must have some decent level of romance even if it's incomplete... with just Yuuta, Rikka and Shinka in the picture it would be really, really dull otherwise.

EDIT: Unless it's a genius work like the little prince I guess, but I doubt that.

Rikka omochikaeri! Only 4 episodes left, i hope the relationships between Rikka and Yuuta won't go stale and the end will be clear....unless there is a second season...which i don't mind.

Most of this episode was pure awesomeness. Hoping they just drop the comedy for the rest of the show, though that probably isn't going to happen since Kyoani cares about moe comedy too much.
