Man this show is continuing to exceed my expectations. Poor Yuuta kept getting thrown into the delusional world of Rikka. I loved her interactions with her sister in this episode. Rikka sister is hardcore. The fight scene was awesome. It really shows you how amazing Rikka's imagination is. She might be crazy but she can imagine a good fight scene. The animation for that was perfectly executed.

The show looks like it going to be one of the surprises of the season.

They have before, they animated Full Metal Panic! 2nd season and Fumoffu. KyoAni is actually talented at creating action scenes but it's such a shame they don't utilize their potential.

first season of Inuyasha as well, it's a co-production.

Nah, I kid, but I do think this anime may be one of my favorite animes ever. Can't wait until the next exciting episode of Rikka and her awesome imagination xD

I found this to be a great improvement on the previous episode.

And i thought Jinrui was funny, its been a very long time since an anime has made me laugh so much.The blackmailing scene was a classic, i really felt Yuuta's pain. Touka is a great addition to the cast. They teased her well in the last ep and she made quite an impact in her debut. That battle was both hilarious and amazing.

Touka Takanashi and Kuroyukihime look similar.

Don't like this anime at all actually. Too pointless and moeblobby. :S I had to pause the video at least seven times because I got bored and started to go on tumblr...
I'm giving it two or three more episodes before I drop it.
Didn't think it was funny either. In fact, I didn't laugh at all for the series yet. :/

On the other side, very cool animation. I thought the fight scene was well choreographed.

The sister is badass/hot. Watching her chase them was hilarious
The battle scene was pretty funny/interesting since it was so unexpected.

KyoAni officially can do no wrong, just add moe.

Seriously, no studio is even close when it comes to animation. They can even do fight scenes now! (ok they did FMP before but different genre), I found the spoon weapon hilarious. Character design is top notch, especially for Shinka HHNNNGG. It still surprising how consistent the animation is every single frame, almost CG like.

Somehow I don't find the main character annoying even though he's pretty whiny. Probably has to do with the fact that he's pragmatic just like Kyon in Haruhi and Houtarou in Hyouka. Also doesn't hurt that he stands up to the girl's nonsense (just like Kyon and Houtarou coincidentally). To sum it up, this is just KyoAni continuing its great success with moe shows and why not. I think this show will definitely have more appeal than Hyouka just because its more lighthearted and not as niche as a mystery like Hyouka. Its got enough nonsense to keep it fun and prevent it from taking itself too seriously.

This episode was comedy gold. The dream, his interaction with the class prez, eyepatch girl and her relationship with her older sister, the incredible exaggerations, the short-haired girl...so many laughs were had. also the older sister was kinda cute. can't wait for the next episode

Yeah, that settles it, I officially dislike Rikka. I know that the whole point of this is that Yuuta will realize that he is having fun, daydreaming is not bad, but I just find her aggression and persistence to be annoying. The guy made it clear a million times that he feels really, really uncomfortable when she acts the way she does, and that it is destroying his social life, but Rikka just doesn't give a F.

Anyway, the episode itself was pretty nice, I like Touka a lot, she is probably my favorite character of the show. 4/5.

I am convinced there is far more to Rikka than just her being playful... You'll see :)

Haha, I kept laughing from the beginning 'till the end. I'm impressed on how it can deliver such story (and epic battles) with only someone's delusions. This season has a lot of great animes, but Chuunibyou probably is the most interesting one in my opinion.

that battle was epic, so much childhood memories, in reality i looks silly as hell but you were having the most epic fun yourself :P.

Lucky for me, I was caught up on the shows I was watching and decided to give this one a look. Zero expectations and I am loving it. The imagination of the characters brings back memories. I love how its being presented in this anime. So awesome!

Entertaining is all i ca say. The only really funny part or me was the exploitation of whatshisface's previous chants of darkness.
I think i might drop this show in the end though. It's not doing it for me.
