Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! Episode 6 Discussion

Love each and every episode that's been show! So many fumy scenes, highlight for me was Nibutani trying to ambush Dekomori before Isshiki's haircut decision in the club. All that's missing is the full version of Dark Flame Master to return.

Pretty good episode... But not as epic as episode 5..... And Nibutani is so fucking annoying.....

Another great episode. A lot of funny scenes in this episode. I don't get the big problem though of a girl's ranking system. I did that too in highschool. We would not write it down though, but just discuss which girl you would like to go out with. I know that the girls in my grade also did the same thing. So personally I don't understand the big commotion. Maybe because it was written on paper?

That art from Rikka was awesome, I wonder what Yuuta drawed. I expect some drama in the next ep. Obviously there are some problems in the Takanashi family and I think that Touka wants Yuuta to be with Rikka as emotional support. That's all my speculation though.

ROLFMAO! Funniest episode ever. I haven't laugh this hard for a long time until now.

the class scene really remind me of onani master kurosawa only with hilarity.

and the animation is really awesome in this episode , felt like watching a movie.

Isshiki was a fool for making that list and so where the ones that took part in it i doubt the girl believe he did it all on his own especially after receiving that applause from the rest of the guys they just gave themselves away.
Speaking of those guys that where giving applause that was just pathetic, if you take foolish actions you should be prepared for the consequences.
Yuuta nearly got the blame even tho he didn't take part in it, Isshiki was at least men enough to admit he did it however i think he was wrong for taking all the blame of it tho.

Nibutani was pretty funny at the first half of the episode especially towards Dekomori who does indeed need some punishment for her actions.
I think Nibutani needs to be more honest with herself and just get angry at her for ones in front of everyone i doubt it would harm her imago since everyone would get angry if someone did that to them.

i liked this episode although it wasn't as funny as episode 3 or 4, and there was no epic fight scene. Needs more "Reality, be rent. Synapse, break. Banishment, this world!" but none the less it was still a good episode.

I like how they went a lil more in-depth with the character developments

That fuss about the ranking was hilariously stupid and the drama around it so annoying..
Oh my god, the boys are interested in girls and ranked them! Cut all their hairs then it's like nothing happened! *rolleyes*

However, that scene when Yuuta and Rikka are holding hands. That was cute.
I wonder what her phone has to do with her behaviour there. The first scenes of her standing at the crossing clearly focused on that detail and shortly before holding Yuutas hand she looked on it. But when the train drove by she didn't look happy or concentrated on "readng the wind" for that matter at all..

Kumin tagging along in the play of Rikka and Sanae was cute, too. And touching Makotos head at the end. xD Still disliking Nibutani as hell.
So can't wait for next episode. Ah, I'd like to marathon this anime but waiting for that being possible is even worse than waiting in one week intervals which is already horrible.. >_>

attitudes to such things might be very different in Japan. often in many cultures it may be recognized that people do certain things but it is simply not acceptable for it to be brought out into the open. To me what was going on was not so much that the girls were upset that such a thing happened but that it was made 'public'.

Granted. Japanese culture feels sometimes very weird to western people. Still I think this particular topic was rather exaggerated (I'm not considering the boys crying here) as it had no disciplinary consequences for the boy(s) as it seemed even though the teacher was attending.

Would make sense considering Rikkas sister being really serious about that topic and explaining why Rikka seemed kinda down back then. I wonder what that is all about. :x

That train scene really reminded me of 5cm per second, it felt pretty nostalgic.
Great episode, lots of comedy and that dramatic scene about the ranking was so good.
I was hoping this would get serious some time soon, but I see it's going slice-of-life-ish. Not that that's a bad choice by any means.
I'm looking forward to more, pretty serious ending, but it's probably about something stupid.

This episode was once again rich in Sanae but for a first time I approve of Rikka x Yuuta romance. My thoughts follow but I am going to give out 2 negatives on 2 parts of this episode. Got me irritated and frustrated TBH.

About Sanae Dekomori, oh my dear favourite girl. So much richness of her in this episode it’s incredible. At first Sanae went really ballistic in the spoiler towards Shinka that it surprised of the sudden spur of violence that happens. Rather nasty tripping there since the drawing board as felt out. Sanae was great there. Not only she showed pure surprise but also a tongue out for a nasty expressions towards Shinka of rivalry. Fake forest summer ROFL! Rather well done part. It impressed how lovely insane is Sanae and for me liking her.

I liked the most of Sanae in the spoiler but also Kumin was pretty nice there. However Sanae in the following,

Was just service fantastic for a cock teasing one. The studio totally did a superb job of borderline ecchi. Just plain ecchi borderlines. There is hentai borderline which is close to hentai but is ecchi. Meet the close to ecchi but is not thing. This series along with its studio have done it again finely with this part. As the ass is barely shown but the start and mass hints of the cheeks being around. Again just the tip of them are shown or small areas of mere value but to add to appeal. Especially the GIFS of the spoiler

can you say SHAKE THAT ASS! YEAH! Kumin at least with the hearts goes back to rather most amazing censoring. Sanae continues to be most amazing in the spoiler with Rikka however I noticed the light of her eyes is a darker blue and so is she. Must be due to the negative shirt she is wearing.

About Sanae VS Shinka, the whole milk inducing and Sanae fearing it in the spoiler got me sad. Poor Sanae being forced to drink what she hates by the evil bitch Shinka? OH NO NO! I need to rescue her if only I could get there. Jokes aside it was very comedic. I strongly suggest Sanae to take Calcium pills if she hates dairy products or just take the pills that makes you like them. Either way she needs Calcium and should take it. Sanae's expressions were well done there with the colourings and setups. While Shinka's expressions were that of the revenge type. Notice the red colour being a symbol of it. That being said Shinka continued to be good with the nasty expressions of her while holding the milk to Sanae.

Fight continuing in the spoiler one can see the serious advantage Shinka has with her height over Sanae. She can’t reach Shinka at all! CURSE YOU SHINKA! However Sanae does not give up! My girl is a nasty bitch you too if she wants like in the spoiler you don’t watch your back she gets you. I best not deal too much outside my harem. She might get the people back for me. Jokes aside that was a nice mass of hair hit on Shinka along with Kumin drinking the feared milk for Sanae. Lovely expressions during that part.

About Sanae casting out the fears towards Shinka, very lovely part in the spoiler Sanae once again shined like no other time. Making of herself a glorious light beacon in front of Shinka. Blasting her with her words from her own magical book. She succumbs badly and croaks down terribly on her very own insanity. And I am damn happy about it! Serves the bitch right!

About Sanae VS Shinka Round 2, another amazing round in the spoiler the first thing to notice is the SPIN KICK! Indeed it was done and that alone is a kick ass move. On top of another impressive kick and quick punches. Still impressed Shinka managed to stop them. Seems both girls have some sort of martial arts potential. I would recommend they got to a dojo.

About the last of Sanae in this episode, finally Sanae along with Shinka in the spoiler were both hilarious for laughing but I felt a little bad on Sanae having the door slammed before she could get in. Sanae continued to be rich for her lover me and other males however I tend to possess my own version of Sanae just saying.

About Rikka x Yuuta, very lovely first start in the spoiler I MELTED MAN! Seriously those feet and poses of MOE got me OVER 9000 *dies* *comes back* kind of thing. First of all Rikka’s feet are so fetish! They are so small and desirable. Rikka’s poses when she lands and is in her T-Shirt. Best is when she gets close to Yuuta. I SMELL LOVE THERE! LOADS MAN! As foreshadow that is. However something is up in the spoiler Rikka’s sister is reacting strangely.

About Rikka drawing Yuuta, well the first thing of that part in the spoiler is mainly I find the 2 girls there rather MOE TBH. Both having their charms but it was also Yuuta’s drawing ability that impressed quite well TBH. The depictions looked cool and reminded me of myself when I drew back then. However the best part is still Rikka drawing Yuuta in the spoiler

now that is one heck of a depiction TBH.

About Rikka’s transformation, loved it in the spoiler it was nice and clean. However Sanae’s is the best for me TBH.

About the best of Rikka x Yuuta, quite simply in the spoiler but most of all the following,

Is there is a need for. Quite simply it was amazing. The hand holding and all really made things so romantic there. Words cannot describe how intense this whole thing was and it looked good too. In thee end it was about reading something in wind? BS! It was romance just both might not notice it. I think Rikka does more than Yuuta.

About thee end, for one Rikka was funny in the spoiler her whole notion of door having a seal was plain ridiculous as usual. However I was impressed with her whole ritual of mana infusing Isshiki’s head for that matter in the spoiler that was kind of funny too.

However what really got my attention is in the spoiler the sister is asking seriously help from Yuuta? WHAAAAAAAT? But wait, I got it.

About possible theory, some person inspired me to do what is done in the spoiler large zoomed in part of the OP about Rikka’s family. Here are my conclusions.

-They are dead most likely. Touka dyeing her hair black is one clue. The other is not being able to see with one eye could mean a form or mourning too.

-House is sold, which means money was not around. That is obvious to assume the parents are dead due to it. Touka would not have had the money to support such a house.

-In order for the disease to manifest itself into Rikka she would not block off something of high trauma value. What else than being a witness/being there/seeing their parent’s dead corpses would be enough? Nothing, the disease only comes with high trauma rates.

About the negative, randomly taken from the different parts of this episode. The way Isshiki in the spoiler was pissed me off. Dude does not jack what girls like in guitars and dude was so MOE, it was gay for me. I am sorry.

Shinka being a BITCH! BITCH! BITCH! In the spoiler how nasty can you get from one end to the other? Damn girl is totally a bitch like that.

Shinka’s attitude and the whole class mess in the spoiler WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU ALL? The F is the problem with girls being polled? It tells them at least if they are ugly or not and to change. WTF is wrong with the whole situation man? It’s like a huge big deal that is not really. Less the guy did put sexual remarks and some measurements then yeah but even so only sexual remarks about some girls would it matter at all of this.

Isshiki’s cry me a river haircut in the spoiler totally got me RAAAAAAAAAAAAGING! It was so stupid and ridiculous. I felt my male pride go down with how Isshiki was acting in this episode. However this takes the shitty cake aright. I could care less for something of his stupid fault.

So that being said it’s all the negative I have going on.

About Isshiki x Kumin, can it be even possible in the spoiler of Kumin to take in her care this poor male soul? Can it even be? Certainly I sensed some love there for sure.

So in thee end Rikka needs Yuuta’s mental support and hence why Touka would even bother with it in such a serious tone. The summer place must have bad memories for Rikka.

I dont get all the hate Nubutani gets. Sure, she acts like a bitch, but she IS the most trolled characters so far as well. Sanae is the one who annoys me to no end, but this episode actually made me stop hating her at least.

Nibutani starts to grow on me... But mainly it's because Dekomori is bringing out the fun in her character. Their fights are such highlights ^_^ I didn't like Dekomori and Nibutani before...

Individually, one is a bitch and another is annoying, but when you put the 2 of them together, they create gold!


Kumin continues to be the curious, fun loving, lovely that she is since her introduction. Just how perfect can she gets?


Looks like there will be more focus on Yuuta and Rikka starting next episode. I can hardly wait.

Screw the interactions between Togashi and Rikka, Nibutani and Sanae crack me up.

Oy. Just once I would like to discuss an anime without my computer freezing and crashing from every screenshot ever "in the spoiler".

I must say as much as I prefer Nibutani being something other than the generically sweet girl, she's taking this sociopath thing a little too far. I'm surprised Isshiki is even willing to talk to her after the way she treated him. But that's anime for you. Points to Yuuta for decking her and Deck-o-mori.

The whole shaving head drama was narmy but I can see why Japan would act that way, the emphasis on taking responsibility for actions in dramatic ways. Beats ripping out fingernails I guess.

It was nice to get a break from Rikka and her antics, as she had minimal relevance in this episode. Still the others more than make up for her lack of annoying factor, especially Sanae.

This episode chipped my score of the show down another notch, but I'm gonna keep watching, hopefully the latter half will redeem it a little.

Isshiki was a true man this episode, respect. He even reminded me a bit of the great Tomoki when he decided to actually shave his head (after a lot of crying tho haha).

Oh yeah its almost summer time and I hope that means they'll have a beach episode. Got my hopes up when they panned to a beach towards the end. Touka appearing outta no where was awesome and I can't wait to see where she's going to take them.

Lmao at the way that Shinka acted when Isshiki first found out about her true nature. Pretending like nothing had happened and then just went with fuck it, I'll ruin you if you expose me haha. It was also great to see her at least try and get back at Dekomori for all the trolling that she does this ep. Thank god Yuuta is also there to stop Dekomori's foolishness sometimes, and lol I loved the way that he got her to slam into the door twice.

An episode which had much of Isshiki. Nice to see some scenes with other people than the club members. Poor Isshiki who got stood up on his date. But it seems there's an ever bigger price for him xD

Nibutani was actually not completely disgusting in this episode, she was actually quite nice near the end. I still think deep inside she doesn't hate Dekomori.

This was kind of a meh episode. I expected more development in this series but so far it looks like it will remain stagnant. Beach episodes rarely have anything other than fan service...

Another enjoyable episode. I'm really feeling for Isshiki, going bald with 35 is way too early in the first place, and now that xD

Her interactions with Sanae is really gold .They bring the best out of each other . *puts on my yuri goggles*

Shinka uses Warm and Tasty Milk on Sanae . It is Super Effective !

And lol , seems like Kumin have strange fetishes . and yes ,there's no way that it's love .keep dreaming Makoto .

And Touka makes busting into someone elses home awesome .A serious issue indeed for her and Rikka to act like that .

I'm sure deep down that Nibutani doesn't hate Dekomori.

Hell, it looked like they were holding hands as they were laughing at Isshiki's bald head while Yuuta had the two in a chokehold. :P

Parent issues? Priestess doesn't want Rikka to face her parent without someone of her trust if things go wrong.

I didn't think much of Isshiki until this episode but now i have a new found respect for him. That was a noble sacrifice. Still i couldn't help burst out laughing too, i really wasn't expecting that. That instantly reminded me of Ranma 1/2 and the principals obsession with buzz cuts. He looked like such a generic character but i'm glad that things seemed to work out for him in the end.

I love how in some peoples eyes no matter what she does Nibutani is the annoying bitch. As far i'm concerned she gives as good as she gets, from what i've seen its been very balanced in terms of comeuppance for her sometimes elitist attitude. Personally i love the love/hate relationship between her and Dekomori. Their antics are hilarious and its always funny to see her trying and failing to hide her Mori Summer past. she gets so easily roped in.

So next week is the obligatory beach episode. Cant wait to see what crazy, funny take Chuunibyou will have on that old favorite.

I still wonder who was that girl that gave the love letter to Isshiki.

Rikka was less irritating in this episode than usual, that was a nice change.
Like the Sanae vs Shinka scenes, though sometimes Shinka should win too, it's too one-sided currently.

It seems next episode we'll have more of best girl, Touka. *Crosses fingers for screen-time*. I presume she need Yuuta to keep Rikka in check. 5/5 an especially funny episode this time around.

If this just keeps getting better and better, I might even give it a 10. I laughed so much at this episode and that train scene, oh my god.

To the very end I was CERTAIN he'll just put one of them bald caps on... But he didn't cheat, true respect. And it was hilarious too. Glad he got an episode for himself and even Pillow-senpai's attention, that's a lot more than any of us could ask for.

The series is very funny and very pretty, but unfortunately the servant girl and Nibutani (especially Nibutani) are dragging it down a notch. Just the protagonist and Rikka would be plenty. Mummy, I want to read the novel...
